This is a fabulous antique Gothic Revival five-light chandelier, circa 1930’s, with red polychrome accents. The chandelier comes down in a chain to a bowl with a waved edge. Three chains descend from the bowl, supporting the wide, hand-riveted band that forms the chandelier body. Each chandelier arm attaches to the band with a hammered trefoil, and supports a bobeche with a scalloped border. The underside of the chandelier is ornamented with a hammered iron fivefold design resembling a snowflake; the chandelier finishes in the center with a spike finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ½†wide and 18†long to the cluster, and the fixture is 30 ½†long overall.
