This is a striking antique Art Deco figural chandelier with an eagle, dating from the 1920’s. Made of darkened nickel and brass, this five-light chandelier is crowned with a cast brass eagle with its wings outspread, followed by a nickel baluster-shaped chandelier body. Hammered brass arches, ornamented with arrows, come down from the baluster to support the chandelier arms, which fan out from the chandelier in a star shape. Each arm supports a nickel bobeche with a cutout border. The chandelier finishes in a finely cast brass finial, formed of an arrow surrounded by a laurel wreath. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 17 ¾†wide and 20†tall, and the fixture is 36†long overall.
