Very unusual antique five light chandelier in the Adam style, salvaged out of Philadelphia and dating from 1910. This silver plate fixture moves down from an understated canopy and chain to a decorative loop finial. Below, is an upper body disc that features beaded trim and a rosette on the underside. Three decorative chains extend down, attaching to the urn-shaped lower chandelier body. The body features a rare swirled finish that reflects light and gives off a shimmery gleam. Beneath it, five ribbed S-shaped chandelier arms with foliate details extend out to support bobeches with dangling glass pendants. The fixture ends in a decorative lower disc and floral finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18-1/2" wide and 23" tall, and the fixture is 32-1/2" long overall.
