This is a handsome antique five-light Spanish Revival chandelier, made of cast bronze and dating from the 1920’s. It begins with a canopy richly ornamented with crowns and shields, coming down in a chain to a volute loop. The center of the chandelier is formed of a baluster with twist detail, surrounded by curled bronze pieces that repeat the twist accent. The chandelier arms are connected by pairs of bands, with a magnificent crest between each arm. The volute arms support crenelated bobeches. The underside of the chandelier features a splendid volute design radiating from the center. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ¼†wide and 18 ½†tall, and the fixture is 35 ½†long overall.
