A stunning antique Louis XV chandelier, circa 1900, in brass with gilded bronze accents. This Rococo chandelier has been fitted with hand-blown iridescent gold shades. It begins with a canopy ornamented with a delicate foliate border, coming down in a pole to a chandelier body ornamented with beads and foliate appliqués. The chandelier arms, ornamented on both ends with beautifully detailed leaves, support simple shade holders and stunning tulip-shaped art glass shades. The chandelier finishes in a cluster of leaves with an intricate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 27” wide and 19” tall (body only), and the fixture is 27” long overall.
