This is an amazing antique iron and brass five-light chandelier. Dating from the 1920’s, the chandelier retains its original polychrome finish with red and blue accents. The chandelier begins with an intricate, looping brass finial with a red and blue center, which attaches to a brass pole running the length of the chandelier body. Five bands, connected to each other at the middle of the chandelier by blue and red volute ornaments, form the chandelier body and curve out at the base to form the chandelier arms. Each arm supports an intricately cast, faux-hammered bobeche with rope detail. The bottom of the chandelier finishes in a diamond-shaped finial with a polychrome floret in the center. This light fixture is in excellent condition. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20 ½†wide and 20 ¼†tall, and the fixture is 36 ½†long overall.
