A fabulous antique Spanish Revival six-light cast iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original polychrome finish. The chandelier begins with a beautifully detailed canopy; below, the chandelier body begins in a foliate loop finial with unusual flowers resembling trumpet-vine. Five iron bands with a hammered texture form the chandelier body. Five chandelier arms, ornamented with red and blue acanthus, each support a bobeche ornamented with leaves and shields. A hammered volute finial with a polychrome flower hangs from each bobeche. The sixth light sits in a foliate bobeche in the center of the chandelier, finished underneath with a dangling finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18†wide and 22 1/2†tall, and the fixture is 35 ½†long overall.
