This is a beautiful antique iron five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a leaf-and-dart canopy with torsade trim, coming down in a chain to a loop finial with twisted sides, resting in a cluster of leaves. Five curled iron bands formed the chandelier arms, ornamented at the top with smooth teardrop prisms and supporting elegant foliate bobeches below. A long leaf runs along the underside of each arm. The chandelier finishes in a leaf cluster with an acanthus loop finial below. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ¼†wide and 21 ½†tall, and the fixture is 36 ½†long overall.
