Splendid antique five-light brass chandelier with original polychrome finish. The understated canopy comes down in a chain to a decorative loop finial with trefoil detail. The fixture's urn-shaped upper body features a scalloped foliate border, and tapers down to a fan light lower body with a floral finial below. Extending from the lower portion are five ornate chandelier arms with scrolling foliage and diamond details. Attached are decorative bobeches that support simple candle cups. The chandelier's beautiful original polychrome finish is seen throughout the fixture, in red and green detailing. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18-1/4” wide and 19” tall, and the fixture is 34-1/2” long overall.
