A wonderful antique Adam style five-light chandelier, circa 1910, in brass over pewter. The canopy of the chandelier is richly ornamented with urns, laurel, and garlands; the chandelier comes down in a chain to a foliate loop finial atop a long baluster ornamented with fan-like leaves and volutes. Below, the chandelier body is ornamented with five magnificent urns draped with garlands; a laurel border surrounds the fluted center of the chandelier. The chandelier arms feature a leaf-and-dart border and acorn finials; each arm holds a bobeche ornamented with leaves. The chandelier finishes in an acorn finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ¾†wide and 23 1/2†tall, and the fixture is 41†long overall.
