This is a superb antique cast bronze Arts Deco eight-light pendant light, dating from the 1930’s. The chandelier features a beautiful combination of white flashed glass and frosted glass. It begins with a beautifully ornamented bronze canopy with sleek leaves, coming down in a rod to a cone-shaped piece above two tiers. The first tier features leaded white flashed glass panels surrounding four lights; the second is composed of curved frosted glass panels surrounding the second set of lights. A fluted bronze band surrounds the lower portion, which converges into an elegant leaf finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This light fixture measures 13†wide, 25†tall (body only), and 32 ½†long overall.
