A magnificent antique iron twelve-light chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s. This large two-tier chandelier begins in hammered, cone-shaped canopy which descends in a chain to a twisted iron loop. Wrought iron rods, twisted in the center, support the chandelier body. The upper tier features a hammered band with four wrought iron arms; each arm supports a crenellated bobeche. Below, eight iron bands support the lower tier of the chandelier, composed of a wide band with crimped edges, with eight crenellated bobeches spaced around the band. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 28-1/2†wide and 36†tall, and the fixture is 78†long overall.
