A magnificent antique brass six-light chandelier, originally half gas and half electric, and now completely wired for electricity. Dating from the late 19th Century, the chandelier begins with a sleek canopy, coming down in a pole to an orb-shaped chandelier body. Three chandelier arms extend straight out from the chandelier, each ending in a ball with a shallow, flared glass shade below and a bobeche above, with a scrolled gas key between. This light fixture is in excellent condition. The shades are also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures 30†wide and 27-1/2†long overall.
