A magnificent antique Gothic Revival cast bronze lantern, circa 1925, with its original custard glass shade. The chandelier begins with a cast bronze trefoil, with wing-like leaves ornamenting the bronze framework. The glass is supported by a heavy egg-and-dart band with an arched trefoil pattern below; the bullet-shaped glass shade finishes in a cluster of leaves with an acorn finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier body measures 12†wide and 29†tall; the fixture is 54†long overall.
