A wonderful antique eight-light brass chandelier with its original glass, dating from the early 1900’s. The chandelier begins with a leaf-and-dart canopy, coming down in six brass rods to a cutout chandelier body ornamented with intricate leaves and volutes against a background of glass. The upper section of the chandelier is a very dark amber glass, while the middle portion and the lanterns feature a honey-colored slag glass. Six lanterns hang from the chandelier body, each featuring a cut-out brass shade with slag glass. The chandelier finishes in the center with a dark amber glass section with a brass volute overlay. This light fixture is in very good antique condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier body measures 21-1/2†wide and 11-1/2†tall (body only), and the fixture is 25-1/2†long overall.
