Dramatic antique English Tudor five-light chandelier, salvaged out of Asheville, SC. This bronze fixture begins with a hammered, decorative canopy, moving down in chain to a bell-shaped loop finial. The chandelier body is made of a vertical beam surrounded by panels of scrolling fretwork. A horizontal circular band of the same fretwork features a central shield with original polychrome finish. Chandelier arms extend up and out from the body, supporting crenellated bobeches. The bottom of the chandelier tapers down in decorative detail to a scrolling finial. The light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19-1/2" wide and 21" tall, and the fixture is 35" long overall.
