This is a striking antique Tudor five-light darkened nickel chandelier with crests. Dating from the 1920’s, the chandelier begins with a hammered canopy, coming down in a chain to a brass trefoil finial. Below, five brass band with a silver-tone finish come down to form the chandelier body. The bands are joined at the middle of the chandelier with beautifully cast crests, ornamented with a crown at the top and a blue and red diagonal band across the shield. At the bottom of the chandelier, the bands are encircled by a twisted brass ring; they flare out at the bottom to form the chandelier arms, and each supports a crenellated brass bobeche. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20 3/4†wide and 17†tall, and the fixture is 31†long overall.
