A superb antique brass five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a loop finial ornamented with leaves and a lattice pattern; below, five brass bands form the chandelier body and flare out into chandelier arms. Near the middle of the chandelier, the bands are overlaid with elongated leaves, each hung with a clear teardrop prism. The center of the chandelier features a cluster of three-dimensional polychrome flowers on stems. Each chandelier arm supports a foliate bobeche, and the chandelier finishes in a leaf cluster with a brass finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18 ¾†wide and 19 ¾†tall, and the fixture is 38†long overall.
