This striking antique Neoclassical five light chandelier was found in an Indianapolis, IN, home and dates from the 1920s. This silver plate fixture begins in a foliate patterned canopy, working its way down in chain to a decorative loop finial that tapers out to the upper body roof. Two rows of decorative bands feature scroll, flower and jewel details. Sparkling spear prisms hang around a twisting middle rod that ends in a trumpet finial. Five S-shaped chandelier arms extend down around the central piece, each supporting a downward-facing bobeche with leaf and floral details. Beautiful spear prisms surround each light. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 20†wide, 19-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 35-1/2†long overall.
