Art Deco Slip Shade Chandelier by a firm in Cleveland, Ohio called: The Frankelite Co. Frankelite had a logo which was a stylized "F" in a diamond device and issued their products under the trade name of "F" Diamond Lighting Equipment. This light, Circa 1933, was part of their "Fenwick Series". This chandelier was Model 1255. Their 1930s catalog says it has a spread of 21".
Frankelite was a rather small firm that very little is known about. We have a few examples of their work, and they are always rather unique and attractive stand alone lights. The name and date of these fixtures has been verified by literature from the company as 1933.
Authentic Art Deco, Slip Shade, polychrome painted 5 shade chandelier. The finish, while being cleaned up "a mite," is original and simply beautiful to the max. You cannot find a much better slip shade chandelier than this one.
Wonderful condition. The shades are simply a treat and in remarkable condition. Probably made by Consolidated Glass or another quality glass house. We re-wired it in our UL shop and it was simply neat to work with a nice chandelier like this one.
Measurements: The overall hang height is 28" but it could be shortened another 2" by removing chain links. The fixture has a spread of about 21".
This fixture can be lengthened or shortened by adding, or subtracting, chain links.
