A marvelous antique Art Deco five-light cast iron chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, in its original finish. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with volutes and leaves; below, the chandelier body begins with a sunburst finial atop a reeded column that runs the length of the chandelier body. Intricate loops, ornamented with volutes, leaves, flowers, and geometric designs, come down from the finial to each chandelier arm. The chandelier arms end in geometric bobeches with touches of blue, finished below in spike finials. The chandelier finishes in a dangling sunburst finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 20 1/2” tall, and the fixture is 38 ½” long overall.
