This is a splendid antique Georgian three-tier chandelier in its original silver plate, patent dated June 1925. This six-light “wedding cake†chandelier begins with an elegant loop finial ornamented with beading and foliate detail. Below, five reeded chandelier arms, accented with urn finials, support silver plated bobeches bordered in delicate chain and hung with sparkling icicle prisms. Between each arm is a silver plated flower. The chandelier continues in three tiers of prisms, and is finished in a faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in good antique condition; there is a cut on the top of the fixture (pictured) which is not visible unless the chandelier is viewed from above. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body is 20 ½†wide and 21†long; the fixture is 39†long overall.
