This is a splendid antique iron five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a volute loop finial atop a cluster of overlapped oak leaves. Five wrought iron bands, accented with flowers, descend from the leaf cluster to form the chandelier body. The center of the chandelier features a triad of flowers on stems. Wrought iron chandelier arms, fastened with floret buttons to the chandelier body, hold gorgeous oak leaf bobeches with striking autumn colors in the leaves. The chandelier finishes in a tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18†wide and 19 ½†tall, and the fixture is 38 ½†long overall.
