A fabulous antique Tudor iron five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with a simple leaf pattern, coming down in a chain to a volute loop. Below, five wrought iron bands, fastened with floret buttons at top and bottom, form the chandelier body and flare out at the bottom to form the chandelier arms. Each arm holds a foliate bobeche; the chandelier finishes in a dangling foliate finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18†wide and 18†tall, and the fixture is 37 ½†long overall.
