This is a wonderful antique five-light brass chandelier with prisms, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with an elegant loop finial ornamented with beading and acanthus leaves. The pan fixture has five arms ornamented with acanthus and volutes; each arm supports a simple bobeche with a dangling prism. The underside of the chandelier is ornamented with acanthus leaves and finishes in a tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 19 ½†wide and approx. 14†tall, and the fixture is approx. 30 ½†long overall.
