Beautiful antique Neoclassical five-light silver plated chandelier, dating from the early 1900s. This chandelier begins in a decorative foliate canopy, coming down to a diamond loop finial with egg-and-dart details, with a second volute loop finial beneath. A baluster shaped upper body features a band of foliage and comes down to a wide disc lower body with an abstract diamond pattern. Five fluted chandelier arms attach to the disc and are crowned by a decorative leaf finial. The U-shaped arms curve down and back up to support double disc bobeches. The chandelier finishes in a tassel finial hanging from the base of the fixture. This chandelier is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. It measures approximately 19-3/4" wide, 16" tall to the top of the volute loop finial, 21" tall to the top of the diamond loop finial, and 33-1/2" long overall.
