A fabulous antique five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a beautifully ornamented polychrome canopy, coming down in a chain to a design of scalloped volutes with a polychrome flower in the center. Below, chandelier arms with a crackled pattern are connected by elegant volutes and red anthemia; each arm supports a foliate bobeche. The chandelier finished in a flared finial with volutes. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16 ¼†wide and 15 ½†tall, and the fixture is 27†long overall.
