This is a delightful antique cast iron five-light chandelier in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. This chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with green and red crests, coming down in a chain to an arrow-shaped loop finial. Below, a small reeded column flanked with green polychrome leaves supports the chandelier body. The chandelier body is accented with green and gold leaves, with polychrome crests below. Each arm supports a foliate bobeche with a leafy finial below; between each arm is a blue anthemion. Hammered volutes extend downward from the chandelier, converging in a cluster of green leaves finished in a finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16 ¾†wide and 19 ½†tall, and the fixture is 35†long overall.
