This is a handsome antique iron Spanish Revival five-light chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. The chandelier begins with a canopy swathed in acanthus leaves, and comes down in a chain to a foliate loop finial. Below, five wrought iron bands are fastened to the chandelier with small florets, coming out at an angle and back in to form unusual chandelier arms. Each arm is ornamented with a floret and supports a cutout foliate bobeche. The chandelier finishes in a dangling cast iron finial formed of a cluster of grapes. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18 ½†wide and 23 ½†tall, and the fixture is 41†long overall.
