A fascinating Art Deco chandelier that just does not stop with the Deco elements.

There are angled shade holders, staggered lines on the center stem, as well as Streamline curls. Ribbed base and shade elements to match the motif of the stem. A bit of a mystery as to who made it...but it is definitely 1934 - 1937 vintage.

Just a very outstanding Deco design.

The metal is cast iron with a gold wash, and in "as-found" condition.

The shades are amber glass with both a neat shape and design.

Completely rewired to UL standards in our certified UL lamp shop with new bakelite sockets.

Each socket is capable of light bulbs up to 100 watts, however, antique shades can be damaged by too much heat. We recommend no more than 60 to 65 watts if using an incandescent light bulb. Compact fluorescent or LED bulbs can be substituted if brighter light is needed, because these emit more light without as much heat.
