This is a gorgeous antique Neoclassical five-light silver plated chandelier, circa 1910, in its original silver plate over brass. The chandelier begins with a beautifully detailed canopy, coming down in a reeded pole to the baluster-shaped chandelier body. Ornamented with a leaf-and-dart pattern, the body features a sleek design with five J-curved arms extending from the middle of the chandelier. Each arm is fastened to the body with a silver ball, topped with a delicate urn finial, and ends in a bobeche ornamented with a beaded border. The chandelier body finishes in a dangling tassel finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 18 ¼†wide and 17 ½†tall; the fixture is 39 ½†long overall.
