Incredible antique Arts & Crafts eight light chandelier in its original green finish, dating from the early 1900s. This unique lantern-type chandelier begins in a simplified canopy and heavy chain, working down to an industrial loop finial. Four wrought iron bands curve out, are forged in a trefoil shape, and are hand-riveted to the top of the shade. The four-sided iron shade slopes out and feature amber slag glass panes, each covered by a hand-riveted cage-like bar configuration. The four inner lights illuminate the slag glass beautifully. Four lights are attached to the shade corners, featuring decorative straps and pyramid finials. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The chandelier body measures approximately 28" wide (each side), 37-1/2" wide on the diagonal, 22" tall (body only), and 45" long overall.
