This is a splendid antique cast bronze door knob set with verdigris, dating from the 1800’s. Each knob features a beautiful six-pointed star with a raised, round button in the center. Each point is accented with a tiny circle, and the knob is bordered with a beautiful anthemion pattern, fitting into the spaces between the points of the star. The back of each knob is also ornamented with an anthemion pattern. This doorknob set is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina and some minor paint splatters (easily removable), and each knob measures 2 ¼†in diameter and 2†deep.
