This is an unusual pair of antique figural cast bronze door backplates, dating from the late 1800’s and featuring a bird or mythological creature. These magnificent doorplates are ornamented with stylized foliate detail, crowned with the bird’s head at the top of the plate. These door plates are in excellent condition; each measures 7 ¼†by 2â€.
