Hard-to-find antique Tudor door hardware sets, 1920’s or 1930’s, with nickel plated doorknobs and matching backplates. The doorknobs feature a raised center in the middle of a nine-point star; the plates have a hammered texture and a very distinctive shape. Unusually heavy and well-made for their size, this hardware is cast iron, with a layer of copper (slightly visible on a few of the doorknobs) and then a layer of nickel. Each set includes a pair of plates and a pair of knobs with the connecting spindle and set screws (enough hardware for one door). The door knobs measure 2†in diameter and 2 ¼†deep; the plates are 6 ¼†by 2â€. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH SET; THERE ARE EIGHT SETS AVAILABLE.
