An unusual antique cast iron decorative mail slot and doorknocker combination, dating from the 1880’s. This Eastlake letter slot features a geometric design. The mail flap reads “Letters,†and the handle of the door knocker says “Knock.†This is in very good antique condition with fabulous chippy paint; however, it can be stripped and lacquered for an additional $5. The letter slot measures 9†wide, 4 ½†tall, and has an approx. 1 ¾†projection.
