An unusual antique cast bronze door hardware set, dating from the late 1800’s, with a pair of levers and matching escutcheons on a threaded spindle. The handles feature a striking sunburst design with leaf accents, and the matching roses feature the same sunburst design as the levers. This cast bronze door knob set was salvage from Boxwood, the late Sam Fleming’s home in Nashville, Tennessee. Mr. Fleming was the president of Third National Bank and president of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees. The levers are 3-3/4†long and approx. 2†deep; the escutcheons are 2-1/4†in diameter.
