An elegant antique Art Nouveau entrance doorknob set, made by Reading Hardware Co. in the “Eulalia†design featured in their 1897 catalog (the pattern was later renamed “Americusâ€). Unlike any other set we’ve seen, this entry doorknob set features an extra-wide double border around the edge of each knob. Made of bronze, the knobs feature a recessed center ornamented with Art Nouveau leaf detail, surrounded by a wide, raised border. This set includes two door knobs with their connecting spindle and set screws. The door hardware is in very good antique condition. The larger doorknob is 2 ½†in diameter and 2 ¼†deep; the smaller knob is 2 ¼†by 2 ¼â€.
