A magnificent, hard-to-find antique cast bronze figural “Empire†entry door plate by P. & F. Corbin, marked with an 1889 patent date. This doorplate features mythical beasts at both the top and bottom, surrounded by acanthus leaf detail. The plate has a dummy lock cylinder above the doorknob opening. This unusual door plate is in excellent condition, and measures 2-7/8†wide and 10-1/8†tall.
