This wonderful boxed pine newel post dates to the early part of the 20th Century. It has an elegant dome-shaped finial, followed by beautiful roundels that are framed by curved chamfered edges. The lower section of the newel is fluted with canted edges. The newel retains its original, beautifully aged finish. This attractive newel post is in excellent condition, and measures 48 ½†tall and 7 5/8†wide.
