This is a wonderful antique cast bronze door pull set with a thumb latch, including the catch, latch, and stops. Dating from the 1880’s, this Aesthetic Movement door handle and plate have a beautiful patina with verdigris. The beautifully shaped back plate features a symmetrical, geometric design with scrolling vines on a textured background with a smooth border at the edges. The handle, which angles toward the left, features a repetition of the back plate design. The catch, latch, and stops are ornamented with variations of the same motif. This Eastlake door handle set is in very good antique condition. The handle and plate measure 10†tall and 2†wide, and the plate and handle are 2†deep (not including the back pieces that go into the door).
