A superb antique cast bronze Eastlake mortise lock, c. 1880’s. The lock features an abstracted leaf design with the beginnings of an Art Nouveau influence. This mortise lock is in excellent working condition; it has been sandblasted and lacquered at some point in the past. The lock has a 2 ¼†backset. The faceplate measures 7/8†by 5 ½â€; the lock body is 3†deep and 3 5/8†tall.
