A fabulous antique cast iron mortise lock in Branford Lock Works’ “Oriental†pattern, dating from the 1880’s and featuring the distinctive fan and diagonal design characteristic of the Oriental pattern. This Eastlake mortise lock is in excellent working condition. The lock has a 2.5†backset. The faceplate measures 15/16†by 5-1/4â€; the lock body is 3-3/8†deep and 3-5/8†tall.
