A decorative antique surface mount bottom bolt for a door, late 1800’s, in cast iron. This Eastlake foot bolt features a charming stylized floral design, with an edge border of stylized leaves. To lock the bolt, you tap the top rectangular push button with your foot. It stays in place until released by the round button on the surface of the lock. This lock functions beautifully and retains almost all of its original black enameled background. The box measures 5 ¼†long and 2 ¼†wide overall, the latch portion is 5/8†long and ¾†wide, and the push button at the top is 7/8†long when extended.
