An amazing cast bronze doorknob set by Russell & Erwin (classification number H-110), circa 1887, with matching ornate roses, keyhole escutcheons, and a lock. Each doorknob is 2 1/4†in diameter and 2 ¼†deep; the rosettes are 2 ¼†in diameter; and the keyhole covers are 2 ¼†by 1-1/8â€. The lock has an approx. 2.5†backset; the faceplate of the lock is 7/8†wide and 5 11/16†long. This set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, two doorknob escutcheons, two keyhole escutcheons, and one lock.
