A splendid antique cast bronze mail slot in P. & F. Corbin’s “Marseilles†design, circa 1905, with traces of verdigris. This Neoclassical letter slot features an intricate design of volutes and acanthus leaves, with a ribbed, hinged door that reads “Letters.†This letter slot is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina and a functioning spring. The letter slot measures 9-1/4†by 2-3/4†overall, with an opening of 4-1/2†by 1â€.
