This is a very unusual antique Art Nouveau bronze entry door backplate, in the “Roanoke†pattern by P. & F. Corbin, c. 1900, with astonishing verdigris and an elegant design. The escutcheon features a double keyhole and a striking asymmetrical design with vines, flowers, and beading. Natural conditions left this door plate a striking blue-green color. This entrance doorplate is in excellent condition; it measures 10†by 2 ¾â€.
