An elegant antique Art Nouveau exterior brass door hardware set in the “Nouvelle†pattern by Reading Hardware, featured in their 1910 catalog. The backplates feature an elegant design with intertwined vines and leaves; a coordinating fourfold design adorns the doorknobs. One plate has a double keyhole; the other has a thumb turn. This door hardware is in very good antique condition; there are some hairline cracks on each knob (pictured). The larger doorplate is 12†by 3â€; the smaller plate is 8 ½†by 2 7/8†overall; the doorknobs are 2 ¼†in diameter and 2 ¼†deep. The set includes a pair of knobs with the connecting spindle and set screws, and the two doorplates.
