Antique bronze door hardware sets, made by P. & F. Corbin in their “Ceylon†pattern, featured in both the 1895 and 1905 catalogs. Each set includes the drum-shaped doorknobs with the connecting rod and screws; the decorative Ceylon mortise lock; and the pair of cast bronze doorplates(enough hardware for one door). This hardware features a gorgeous Eastlake-style asymmetrical design with flowers, vines, and a curved band of geometric detail. These sets are in excellent condition and function beautifully. The door knobs are 2 ¼†in diameter and 2†deep; the backplates are 5 ½†by 1 9 /16â€; and the plate on each mortise lock is 5 ¼†long and 7/8†wide.
