Bronze and Glass Inkwell. Green patina and mottled green glass. Bronze; clear glass and slag glass.. This bronze inkwell has a square base with small bronze pads at the corners. The sides slant inwards slightly to a square top. Both the top and bottom have beaded edges. A bronze cap flips open to reveal the original blown glass inkwell. The four sides are cutout in a floral and leaf design in the Art Nouveau style. Beneath the cutout panels are four panes of green slag glass that are held in place by bronze tabs. It is characteristic of ones made by Louis C. Tiffany.
